The Providence Group marked the start of active construction on its 2026 St. Jude Dream Home at 604 Silva Street in Cumming on April 2, gathering trade partners, sponsors and volunteers for a ceremonial floor signing inside the Palisades gated community. The occasion also reset a specific financial clock: the builder is aiming to sell 20,000 tickets at $100 each, raising $2 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital before a drawing gives the $650,000 home away.

The fundraising math works because the construction is effectively free to the campaign. Every hour of labor and every dollar of building materials for the 2,284-square-foot home is being contributed by trade partners and subcontractors at no charge. Green Brick Partners (NYSE: GRBK), The Providence Group's publicly traded parent company, donated the homesite itself. That structure means the full ticket revenue flows to St. Jude rather than covering build costs, and it concentrates the economic activity of a $650,000 residential build among the local and regional contractors doing the work.

The home is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath open-concept design with a home office and a two-car front-entry garage. Palisades is a gated community in central Cumming with pool, cabana and pocket park amenities, and the 2026 Dream Home marks the second consecutive year The Providence Group has built inside that neighborhood.

Ticket sales open April 9. The Providence Group is collecting names on an interest list through its campaign page for buyers who want advance notification. Summer open houses at the Palisades address will allow prospective ticket holders to tour the finished home before the drawing. Buyers who prefer to skip the online funnel can call St. Jude directly at 800-592-1595 or request a printable mail-in form, both of which enter the same prize pool.

The 2026 prize package extends well beyond the house itself. Ticket purchasers are also eligible for a 2026 Ford Maverick Hybrid XL, a 2026 Ford Bronco Sport, a $10,000 Visa gift card, an ICON i40X golf cart, a $3,000 getaway experience and a $2,500 airline gift card, with individual prize deadlines staggered through late June and into July.

The Providence Group's four-year Atlanta track record gives weight to the $2 million target. The 2023 debut in the Millcroft community in Gwinnett raised $1.5 million. The 2024 campaign in Cumming's Brackley neighborhood brought in $1.87 million. The 2025 Palisades effort hit a record $2 million. Combined, the Atlanta campaigns have raised roughly $5.3 million since launching. Nationally, the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway program, founded in 1991 by Dr. Donald Mack, has generated more than $650 million.

All of those funds support one institutional policy at St. Jude: families whose children are receiving treatment there pay nothing for care, travel, housing or food. The 2026 ticket launch on April 9 will be accompanied by a broader media push, and tickets remain available until the 20,000-ticket goal is reached.
