Burlington Opens April 17 at River Park, Replacing Vacant North Fresno Space

Burlington is set to open its new River Park location on Friday, April 17 at 9 a.m., filling the space at 7458 N. Blackstone Ave. that has sat empty since Buy Buy Baby shuttered in 2023 as part of its parent company's nationwide store liquidation.

The off-price retailer will anchor a stretch of the center between Marshalls and A-Z Home Medical Equipment, one of the higher-traffic corridors in the north Fresno shopping complex. To draw early crowds, Burlington is offering a $10 bonus card to the first 100 customers on both opening day and Saturday, April 18, a standard grand-opening incentive the chain has deployed at recent launches across California.

The River Park opening also marks a significant upgrade for Burlington's local footprint. The new location replaces the chain's existing store at 5630 N. The River Park site pushes that count higher and signals continued confidence in the San Joaquin Valley market.
