Driver dies in two-vehicle crash on I-64 East in Goochland County

A driver died in a two-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 64 in Goochland County, turning one of the county’s main commuter routes into the scene of another deadly investigation. Virginia State Police said the wreck happened on I-64 East, and a social post tied to the crash said it occurred Friday afternoon.

A search-result snippet linked to that post identified the victim as Mark Alan Plummer. The crash put a hard stop on traffic on a corridor that carries drivers between Goochland and the broader Richmond region, including people heading through Goochland, Centerville, Crozier, Maidens and Oilville for work, school, deliveries and weekend travel.
