National brunch recognition can do more than fill a few Sunday tables. For Greensboro’s O. Henry Hotel and Pilot Mountain’s JOLO Winery & Vineyards, being named among OpenTable’s 100 most popular brunch spots in the country can translate into more reservations, longer waits, and added business for the Triad hospitality economy.

OpenTable’s 2026 Top 100 Brunch Restaurants list was built from more than 10 million reviews from verified diners, along with dining metrics collected from March 1, 2025, through Feb. 28, 2026. The company said the ranking is intended to help diners plan for Mother’s Day and other brunch outings, which puts both restaurants in front of travelers and local diners looking for a special occasion meal.

In Greensboro, the spotlight fell on Afternoon Tea at the O. Henry Hotel, which OpenTable showed with 1,936 reviews and a 4.8 rating. The listing also marked it as a strong brunch draw and one of the hotel’s most booked experiences, a combination that can matter in a city where hotel dining, event traffic and weekend leisure spending often overlap. The current O. Henry Hotel building opened in 1998, but its name reaches back to downtown Greensboro’s original O. Henry Hotel, built in 1919 and named for Greensboro native William Sydney Porter, better known as O. Henry.

The hotel has turned afternoon tea into a built-in attraction. Its own tea page says service runs Monday through Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Reservations are recommended, and parties are limited to eight guests. Those limits help create scarcity, which can make a national ranking even more valuable by turning a local tradition into a harder-to-get reservation.

JOLO Winery & Vineyards-EndPosts Restaurant brought the same kind of outside attention to Pilot Mountain, where OpenTable listed 3,700 reviews and a 4.9 rating. The restaurant sits at the base of Pilot Mountain and leans heavily on the views, wine program and special-occasion appeal that have already made it a destination. JOLO says EndPosts is a 21-and-over restaurant, reservations are required, and the property has also been named one of the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America.

For Guilford County readers, the bigger story is not just bragging rights. When a Greensboro hotel restaurant lands on a national brunch list, it can pull in visitors who stay longer, spend more and support nearby businesses, from parking and retail to other dining spots that benefit from the same weekend traffic.
