Bonnie Irene McKelvey, 77, of Millersburg dies Jan. 25

Bonnie Irene McKelvey, 77, of Millersburg, died Jan. 25, 2026. A lifelong member of St. John’s Church of Millersburg and a West Holmes High School alumna, McKelvey’s death is notable to residents who knew her through local banking, county service and the library.

Survivors include her husband, Steve McKelvey; son Matthew McKelvey and his spouse Lisa; daughter Lisa McKelvey and her husband Jeremy Mizer; brother John Poulson and his partner Glenda; sisters Ann Price (Dick Price) and Linda Ellis (Russ Geiger); special cousin Elaine Reed; grandsons Brennan Taylor and Nicholas Schott; step-grandchildren Cody Mullet, Taylor (Tommy) Pszenitzki, Cora Clark, Carrigan Mowery and Cade Mizer; and great-grandchildren Azlynn, Mallorie and Ruger Taylor. The obituary notes she was the youngest of five children and lists predeceased family including her parents Victoria Melinda Poulson and William Arthur Poulson, brother Arthur Poulson, and several in-laws and a niece named Emily Poulson.

Her life in Millersburg combined professional work and community involvement.
