Iron Area Health Foundation Awards $500 Grant for Senior Career Planning
Jamie Krueger received $500 from the Iron Area Health Foundation to bring vision-board career planning to seniors at both West Iron County and Forest Park high schools this spring.

Graduating seniors at West Iron County and Forest Park high schools will have a chance to map out their futures this spring, thanks to a $500 mini-grant the Iron Area Health Foundation awarded to Jamie Krueger.
The grant funds a vision-board presentation and activity designed to help seniors at both schools take stock of their goals and plans as they approach graduation. The Iron Area Health Foundation, known locally as IAHF, announced the award earlier this month.
Vision boards are a structured planning tool that prompts participants to identify priorities, aspirations, and concrete next steps, making them a practical fit for students standing at the transition point between high school and whatever comes next, whether that is college, a trade program, or entering the workforce directly.

The $500 award is classified as a mini-grant by IAHF, a category typically reserved for targeted, community-level initiatives with a defined scope. Reaching seniors at two separate high schools, West Iron County and Forest Park, suggests Krueger's program will require coordination across both campuses to deliver the activity this spring.
Full program details, including specific dates at each school and a breakdown of how the funds will be used, were not available at the time of publication.
