Stambaugh native Elizabeth McInerney, 88, remembered in Iron County obituary

McInerney died Friday, May 1, 2026, at age 88 at the Crystal Falls facility. She was born Aug. 11, 1937, in Stambaugh to William and Lillian (Moore) Thorpe, graduated from Alpha High School in 1955 and later earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Leo College.
