Jim Wells County Releases Premont Sample Ballot for May 2 Election

The Jim Wells County Elections Office posted the official sample ballot for the City of Premont's May 2, 2026 general election on March 17, revealing four candidates competing for three seats on the Premont City Council.

The bilingual ballot, available as a PDF, lists contests for City Council Place 3, Place 4, and Place 5. Kimberly Moreno is the sole candidate listed for Place 3, while Place 5 shows only Jose "Chema" Martinez. The most competitive race on the ballot is Place 4, where Andy Garza and Sandra Barrera are both vying for the seat.
