Kleberg County Pregnancy Resource Center Brings Free Services to Alice
KCPRC's mobile unit visited Alice on March 18, offering free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, and parenting classes to Jim Wells County women.

The Kleberg County Pregnancy Resource Center brought its mobile unit to Alice on Wednesday, March 18, running a four-hour stop from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as part of the organization's published March 2026 schedule. The visit gave local women access to no-cost services without traveling to the center's home base at 1311 General East Cavazos Blvd in Kingsville, roughly 34 miles away.
KCPRC provides free and confidential information and support services for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. The mobile unit's offerings include pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, client advocate support, community referrals, and access to a baby boutique stocked with baby supplies. The program also runs Earn While You Learn parenting classes, abstinence classes, health education, and sessions on navigating social services systems.
The program lists pregnancy termination information among its services, though its formal policy is explicit: it does not offer or refer for pregnancy terminations. Prospective clients are advised to call ahead to confirm privacy policies before their visit.
Alice sits within the seven-county mobile service territory KCPRC covers, which stretches across Brooks, Duval, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, and South Nueces counties. The program serves adults, young adults, and teens, with staff prepared to assist in both English and Spanish. All services are free of charge.
Anyone seeking information about upcoming mobile stops or available services can reach KCPRC at 361-945-4282 or through the program's website for current hours and locations.
