Cinema Under the Stars Returns to The Blu Infinity Pool This Winter

The Coeur d’Alene Resort is staging Cinema Under the Stars at The Blu Infinity Pool as part of its Hot Winter Nights package, marketing the program as a Sunday-evening poolside cinema exclusive to package bookers. The resort’s promotional copy promises a sensory experience: "Float in our heated infinity pool beneath the stars while enjoying some of the most beloved films of all time on the big screen" and invites attendees to "Indulge in gourmet popcorn and savor specialty cocktails as the gentle sounds of the lake provide a serene, magical backdrop."

Visit Coeur d’Alene’s public events calendar lists specific Sunday dates for the screenings: February 22, 2026; March 1, 2026; and March 8, 2026. The resort’s event page displays a tickets prompt that reads "TICKETS (External link opens in new tab or window)" but does not list ticket prices, seating capacity or individual film titles for those dates.

The Blu Infinity Pool reopened after a "grand transformation" and has been positioned as a year-round, climate-controlled oasis with new furnishings from Janus et Cie, including plush loungers, dining sets, a serene adult-only area, beach cabanas and private poolside cabanas. Associated Luxury Hotels International material notes the resort now offers enhanced pool amenities and that "The Outdoor Infinity Pool is open exclusively to overnight guests from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily." ALHI also notes guest transport options: "To further elevate the experience, guests can enjoy complimentary transportation via custom mahogany water taxis or in a luxury coach vehicle."

The resort’s winter leisure page also lists lake cruises that board at The Floating Boardwalk just east of The Coeur d’Alene Resort; cruise copy states, "Each cruise features an onboard hot cocoa bar (available for purchase), with classic cocoa options for kids and fun, spirited variations for adults," and gives boarding times for daytime cruises: the 12:30 PM cruise boards at 12:00 PM, and the 2:30 PM cruise boards at 2:00 PM.

Several operational details remain unspecified in the resort materials: exact screening start times on Sunday nights, the titles scheduled for each date, whether nighttime pool hours will be extended beyond the 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daytime window listed by ALHI, and whether Cinema Under the Stars is open beyond Hot Winter Nights package holders.
