Coeur d'Alene's fitness landscape is getting a jolt of high technology on April 2, when NextGym opens its doors at 2120 Northwest Blvd., Suite C, bringing a lineup of performance and recovery machines rarely seen in the Inland Northwest.

NextGym is a cutting-edge fitness studio dedicated to optimizing health and performance through innovative technology and personalized training. The studio runs entirely by appointment, seven days a week, and centers its model around one-on-one sessions rather than open gym access.

The facility features advanced equipment including ARX adaptive resistance machines, Vasper cardio systems, red light therapy, Hugo Pro PEMF mats, and vibration shake plates. The ARX machines represent a significant departure from conventional weight training: Adaptive Resistance technology uses patented, motorized resistance and computer software to give users the perfect workout every time, automatically matching resistance to the force the user produces on every rep. The Vasper, used by NASA for astronauts with atrophied muscles, uses cooling and compression technology combined with a short 21-minute high-intensity interval training workout to build muscle, reduce stress, and create an efficient hormone response.

Madi Hamilton, formerly Madi Brown, is the passionate fitness professional and driving force behind NextGym in Coeur d'Alene. Recently married and now going by Hamilton, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on health and fitness, blending scientific expertise with practical application.
