Spokane Productions relocates to Post Falls, expands studio services

A specialized video and audio company has crossed the state line from Liberty Lake to Post Falls, opening a purpose-built studio at 5380 E. Seltice Way, Suite A. Spokane Productions says the move gives it better acoustics, room for a custom buildout and easier access for clients who need everything from podcasts to live-streamed broadcasts.

The company is not operating like a typical neighborhood recording shop. Its Post Falls space is set up for video production, audio and music recording, corporate headshots, portrait photography, sit-down interviews, mixing and mastering, and automated dialogue recording, better known as ADR. Rob Miller, the studio director, said ADR is used to replace or clean up dialogue after filming when audio is unusable or when a production needs narration or line fixes in a controlled studio environment.

Miller said the new location fits the business better than its previous Liberty Lake base because the building is fully concrete, including the walls and roof, which helps room acoustics. Spokane Productions also points to the site’s convenience for clients and to the broader draw of the region, saying Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene and Spokane offer a thriving film community and easy access to film locations. The company says it can support up to 8 independent cameras and 32 channels of audio for broadcasts, reinforcing that this is a larger-scale production operation rather than a small studio setup.

The move also follows Miller’s years of work in photography, video and drone production. He has more than 17 years of professional photography and video experience, became an FAA-certified commercial drone pilot on August 29, 2016, and helped build the purpose-built recording studio in Liberty Lake in 2020 before it became Spokane Productions. The company says it serves clients across the Western U.S. and can work in-studio or on location.

Its client list stretches far beyond North Idaho. Spokane Productions says it has worked with National Geographic and entertainment names including Sydney Sweeney, Zooey Deschanel, Casey Affleck and David Henrie. It also recently helped a band from Libby, Montana, mix and master music for release, a reminder that the studio’s business now reaches into regional music, film and corporate work.

For Post Falls, the relocation brings a technical creative business into a corridor that is changing fast. Spokane Productions says its address, phone and booking contact are now tied to its Seltice Way studio, placing a cross-border production operation firmly in Kootenai County.
