ADOT Plans Nightly I-10 Lane Restrictions Near Ehrenberg Port of Entry
Nightly I-10 lane restrictions near Ehrenberg's port of entry ran 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. through March 19 as part of port improvement work.

The Arizona Department of Transportation imposed nightly lane restrictions on both eastbound and westbound I-10 near the Ehrenberg Port of Entry at Milepost 3, running from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. each night from March 15 through March 19, for port improvements. A separate note in the ADOT announcement referenced daytime work at San Simon, though no specific times, dates, or scope were provided for that location.
The Ehrenberg restrictions are one of several I-10 work zones active in mid-March across Arizona. Roughly 170 miles to the east, ADOT's Wild Horse Pass Corridor project has been running its own series of overnight single-lane restrictions on I-10 between Loop 202 and State Route 387, with a planning window the agency set from March 13 to March 21.
Within that corridor, the most concentrated activity centers on the Gila River bridge at Milepost 173. Eastbound I-10 was narrowed to one lane there from 9 p.m. Sunday, March 16, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, for a traffic shift and barrier placement. Westbound I-10 faced the same single-lane configuration at that bridge from 9 p.m. Monday, March 16, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, specifically for barrier placement.
Restriping work has stretched across a longer segment of the corridor. Eastbound I-10 was restricted to one lane nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Gas Line Road and SR 387/Pinal Avenue/SR 187, covering Mileposts 177 through 185, from March 15 through March 20. Westbound I-10 carried a parallel single-lane restriction from Seed Farm Road to Gas Line Road, Mileposts 179 through 177, nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from March 15 through March 18, for earthwork and barrier placement. The project page notes that "schedules are always subject to change because of weather or other unforeseen factors."
