Town of Parker Closes Pop Harvey Park Restrooms After Water Main Break
The Town of Parker posted a live-feed advisory that the Pop Harvey Park restrooms were taken out of service after a broken water main; no repair timeline was provided.

The Town of Parker posted a live-feed advisory on its official website on Feb. 13, 2026, reporting that the restrooms at Pop Harvey Park were temporarily taken out of service because of a broken water main. The advisory was presented as a day-to-day operational advisory intended to inform park users and did not include an estimated repair time or further operational details.
The advisory's exact wording included this notice: "The Town of Parker posted a live-feed advisory to residents on its official website reporting that the restrooms at Pop Harvey Park were temporarily taken out of service because of a broken water main." That language appears on the town's live-feed/public notices channel and is the only operational detail the town posted in the advisory made available to this report.
Town materials and the public notices page clarify where residents should look for updates. Parker's public-notices portal states: "To provide a high level of customer service to our citizens, the Town's public notices are now available online in addition to being published in the Douglas County News Press." The advisory was posted on that online feed; the town has not appended a follow-up statement clarifying whether the break affects other park utilities or whether temporary restroom facilities have been provided.

Pop Harvey Park is also the site of a separate infrastructure announcement earlier this year. In a Jan. 7, 2026 Town of Parker article by Fenix Markel, the Public Works Department announced plans to replace the park's 25-year-old playground. "The Public Works Department is excited to announce the replacement of the Town’s 25-year-old playground, bringing a fresh and modern play space for local families to enjoy," the Jan. 7 article states. That project is funded by an Arizona State Parks Grant in the amount of $87,793 with a matching town contribution of $87,793, according to the same Town of Parker notice.
The advisory as posted did not include a Public Works quote about the Feb. 13 water-main break, and town materials provided no timeline for repairs.
