Oxford schools to offer free breakfast under federal meal programs

The district said it will take part in the USDA School Breakfast Program, the USDA National School Lunch Program and the USDA after-school care program. Under the breakfast program’s reimbursement structure, Oxford students will eat breakfast at no cost, while lunch will continue through the federal school lunch program that provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free meals to children each school day.
