Pappas Insulation building new home in Helena Valley
A new Pappas Insulation shop and office is rising at 6714 Green Meadow Drive, bringing eight jobs to a fast-growing Helena Valley corridor.

A new building at the corner of Norris Road and Green Meadow Drive is set to become the permanent home of Pappas Insulation, giving the Helena Valley another visible sign of commercial growth along a corridor that has been filling in with homes and businesses.
The structure at 6714 Green Meadow Drive will hold both the company’s office and its shop, ending years of leasing space in Montana City. Trevin Pappas said the business has simply outgrown its current arrangement. He said he has more than 30 years of experience in the insulation industry, and Pappas Insulation opened in 2018. The company now has eight employees, a size that has made a larger, purpose-built space necessary for day-to-day operations and future expansion.

The move also shows how small businesses are following population growth farther into the valley. Lewis and Clark County describes the Helena Valley as its primary population center and economic hub, and county planning materials have long pointed to more growth ahead. One Helena Valley area plan presentation projected about 10,000 more residents and 4,000 new housing units over the next 20 years. A vacant lot at 6714 Green Meadow Drive spans 5.3 acres, underscoring how much room remains for new construction in an area where development pressure continues to move outward from Helena proper.

For nearby residents, the change will likely be most noticeable in the daily rhythm of the corner itself. Eight employees working from the new site will add regular vehicle traffic to Norris Road and Green Meadow Drive, along with service trucks, material deliveries and the kind of shop activity that comes with an insulation contractor’s warehouse and office. The interior of the building is nearly complete, and Pappas said he is looking forward to moving operations into the new location.

Pappas Insulation’s website says Trevin Pappas was born and raised in Montana and has spent 40 years in the insulation industry. It also says his twin sons, Payton and Carter, work for the company. The business has listed 1214 Lucchese Road in Helena as its contact address, suggesting the Green Meadow Drive project marks a significant shift in where the company operates from as the Helena Valley continues to absorb more housing, business activity and construction.
