Search underway for missing Helena teen Marcus Cole Eisenbeil
Searchers are looking for 14-year-old Marcus Cole Eisenbeil, last seen April 16 in Helena. Authorities ask anyone with information to call 406-442-7883 or 406-444-1526.

A public alert is now out for 14-year-old Marcus Cole Eisenbeil, a Helena teen listed as missing by the Montana Department of Justice. The state record says Marcus was last in contact on April 16, and the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
The missing-person entry describes Marcus as a White male born June 23, 2011. He is listed at 5 feet 7 inches tall, 120 pounds, with blond or strawberry hair and blue eyes. Deputy Skaggs has urged the community to help search and take action, and video has been shared to support the effort to locate him.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 442-7883 or the Montana Missing Persons Clearinghouse at (406) 444-1526. State officials say the clearinghouse works closely with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and other state clearinghouses to help law enforcement and the public locate missing people.
Montana’s missing-persons system traces back to the Missing Children Act of 1985, which established the state database. Attorney General Austin Knudsen launched an enhanced online version in October 2021, expanding the public-facing tool used to track and search missing-person cases across Montana.
Helena currently has multiple entries in the state system, underscoring how active the missing-person workload remains in the capital city. A Helena search page on the Montana Department of Justice site showed five individual matches connected to the city, a reminder that each new alert becomes part of a broader local response stretching from neighborhood streets to county investigators.
For Lewis and Clark County, the immediate priority is clear: find Marcus Cole Eisenbeil and get accurate information to investigators quickly. The state’s published details give residents a specific description to watch for, while the sheriff’s office and the Missing Persons Clearinghouse remain the official channels for tips that could help bring the 14-year-old home.
