Northeastern Junior College Opens Registration for Summer, Fall 2026 Classes
NJC opened registration for Summer and Fall 2026 classes on March 9, with an Advising Day already on the calendar for March 11.

Northeastern Junior College opened registration for its Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 terms on Monday, March 9, according to the college's official academic calendar. The opening gives current and prospective students at the Sterling campus an early window to secure their spots ahead of what will be a busy stretch on the academic schedule.
The registration announcement lands in the middle of the Spring Full Term, which runs January 20 through May 15, 2026. Just two days after registration opened, NJC held an Advising Day on March 11, with morning sessions reserved for continuing students and afternoon sessions for new students. Residence halls closed at 5:30 p.m. on March 13, adding a logistical consideration for students who needed on-campus housing during that window.
Students interested in Fall 2026 specifically can also sign up for NJC's Registration Day, a dedicated event the college has promoted through its academic calendar.
All admissions and registration inquiries are handled out of Hays Student Center on the Sterling campus. Camille Rose, Director of Admission and Recruitment, can be reached at 970-521-6952 or camille.rose@njc.edu. Lauren Rice, Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator, is available at 970-521-6853 or lauren.rice@njc.edu. The general college line is 970-521-6852.
International students navigating the admissions process have several pathways to demonstrate English language proficiency, including a minimum score of 80 on the Duolingo English Test, a TOEFL score of at least 52 internet-based, or a Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency score of 75, among other options. Those students can contact International Student Coordinator Sarah Stone-Robinson at 970-521-6854 or sarah.stone-robinson@njc.edu, or mail materials to the Office of Admission at 100 College Avenue, Sterling, CO 80751.
NJC describes its approach to enrollment in straightforward terms: "Our goal is to help students be fearless in the pursuit of what sets their soul on fire. We want students to experience and achieve everything they'd expect at college.
