Sterling Community Center Hosts Boogie at the Brewery Fundraiser Saturday

The Sterling Community Center filled Two Roads Brewery's taproom Saturday night with live music, dancing, and a fundraising drive that cleared its $13,000 goal by 117 percent.

The event, Boogie at the Brewery, ran from 6 to 10 p.m. at Two Roads Brewery on March 21. Proceeds go to support Sterling's youth programming and financial aid. The campaign's success, surpassing its target by nearly one-fifth above goal, reflects the kind of community buy-in the center has built through consistent outreach at a venue already well-known to Sterling residents.

The evening featured local food, beer, wine, and cocktails from Two Roads Brewing and live music from The Band Central. Each ticket included the first drink of the evening, with guests choosing from craft beers on tap, wine, and cocktails, and non-alcoholic options were also available.

Food for the evening consisted of abundant pub fare catered by the event team at Two Roads.

Band Central is a foundation started in 2005 that has awarded grants to over 70 nonprofits and performed more than 170 shows, helping raise over $7 million. Their presence elevated the night beyond a standard community fundraiser, bringing a proven track record of charitable impact to the Two Roads taproom floor.

Two Roads has been a community champion for the Sterling Community Center from the start, and Saturday's event continued that partnership in one of the most visible ways yet, with ticket sales alone pushing the organization well past its fundraising ceiling before the night ended.
