Sterling Police Arrest Denzel Bradley on Child Sexual Exploitation, Assault Charges
Sterling police arrested 32-year-old Denzel Bradley on numerous felony counts tied to child sexual exploitation and assault; the case highlights online safety and community vigilance.

Sterling police arrested 32-year-old Denzel Bradley after an investigation into alleged child sexual exploitation that law enforcement says uncovered extensive internet-based material and communications. Bradley faces dozens of felony counts and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond, a development that has prompted renewed focus on online safety and child protection across Logan County.
Bradley has been charged with multiple felonies: 100 counts of sexual exploitation of a child for possession, 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a child for production or distribution, three counts of sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse, one count of sexual assault on a child, and four counts of sexual assault on a child from a position of trust. Those charges were brought after investigators obtained search warrants and collected evidence alleging repeated predatory behavior.
The Sterling Police Department said the inquiry began after a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force led officers to open an investigation in early January. According to the Sterling Police Department release, investigators’ search warrants revealed “numerous instances of predatory behavior, including internet discussions and pornographic material depicting explicit sexual content between an adult man and minor children.”
Officers from Sterling Police Department Patrol, Investigations, and the Special Enforcement Team executed the arrest without incident at about 5:40 a.m. on January 29, 2026. Bradley was taken into custody locally and remains detained on the million-dollar bond while the case moves forward. The department says the investigation is active and officials are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Nick Cantrell is the investigative contact at Sterling Police Department; he can be reached at 970-522-3512, Ext. 4223. Residents who wish to leave an anonymous tip may call Logan County Crime Stoppers at 970-522-3937. Those contacts are being shared so neighbors can support the inquiry and help protect potential victims.
For Sterling and Logan County residents, the case is a reminder that criminal networks and online exploitation are not distant problems but local safety concerns. The investigation underscores how national and regional task forces, including the Internet Crimes Against Children network, often work with municipal departments to identify and pursue suspects. At the same time, the legal system requires that Bradley be treated as an individual accused of crimes until proven guilty in court.
Sterling Police Department officials say more information will be released as the investigation and any court proceedings develop. In the meantime, parents and caregivers are urged to review online safety practices, report suspicious activity to law enforcement, and use the provided contacts to share relevant information with investigators as the case proceeds.
