Gallup Police Seek Public Help Finding Missing 35-Year-Old Steven Terrill Haloo

Gallup Sun reported: "Gallup Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 35-year-old man." Local coverage identifies him as Steven Terrill Haloo (also spelled Steven Terill Haloo), last seen leaving his Gallup residence at about 3:00 PM on February 15. The vehicle involved is a black Nissan Rogue bearing New Mexico plate PZA223.

According to Gallup Sun’s staff report, Haloo is a 35-year-old Zuni man, about 5′ 5″ tall and weighing roughly 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, red and black basketball shorts, a black beanie, and white shoes when he left his home in Gallup.

Family members reported Steven missing on February 21, and local posts by relatives note the same Feb. 15 last-seen time. An X post included the year 2026 for the Feb. 15 sighting and also confirmed the black Nissan Rogue as the vehicle last seen with him. Gallup Sun and social posts say Steven may be headed to Albuquerque or to California, but there are no public reports yet of confirmed sightings beyond his leaving home on Feb. 15.

Gallup Sun repeated the public-appeal contact information for anyone with tips: "Anyone with information on Steven’s whereabouts is asked to call Metro Dispatch at (505) 722-2002 or the Gallup Police Department at (505) 863-9365." Those numbers are the two public lines being circulated in community alerts and family posts asking for help locating Haloo.

Local reporting shows a discrepancy in the spelling of his middle name, sources use both "Terrill" and "Terill", and no police-released photo was included in the material published to date. Family posts provided the initial missing-person alert to neighbors and on social media, and Gallup Sun compiled the physical description, clothing and vehicle details now circulating across the county.
