Monroe County Property Transfers Recorded Through March 11

The priciest transaction in Monroe County's most recent property transfer roundup was a Smith Road parcel that changed hands Feb. 27, when Darren Root purchased the land from Patricia E. Davis for $750,000. The sale topped a cluster of six recorded transfers compiled from Beacon, the county's online geographic information system for property and parcel data.

Also on Feb. 27, Lisa Martin paid $623,000 for the property at 1552 S. Andrew Circle, acquiring it from James R. Owens. That same day, the John J. Mellencamp Declaration of Trust purchased 5638 S. Nature Trail Drive from Matthew Kavgian for $568,000, and Cream & Crimson Management LLC acquired 710 S. Fess Ave. for $550,000 from the Earl Michael Hoff Jr. and Susan Jane Fernandes Joint Revocable Trust.

Two additional sales closed March 2. Kew Property LLC sold 1768 W. Sunstone Drive to You Ji Lin for $375,000, and Christopher Biglow sold 4586 N. Shadow Wood Drive to Paige Savannah Ford for $352,000.

The transfers were reported as part of a weekly series published by The B Square Bulletin, which draws its data directly from Beacon. The March 11 report covers transactions with dates ranging from Feb. 20 through March 11, 2026, and includes only transfers not previously reported in the series.
