Tynajah M. Lane was taken into custody after Jacksonville police say a gun was discharged inside a residence during a home invasion on the 400 block of South Mauvaisterre Avenue. Officers responded around 9 p.m. late Saturday and located a suspect, identified by investigators as Lane, who was arrested without incident and charged with home invasion and aggravated assault.
Lt. Sean Haefeli with the Jacksonville Police Department said officers were called to the address on South Mauvaisterre Avenue after a report of shots fired and discovered that a gun had been shot inside the home during what investigators concluded was a home invasion. Police action at the scene led to Lane’s arrest and a transfer to the Morgan County Detention Facility for booking and holding.
Lane is being held at the Morgan County Detention Facility while the case moves forward; the charging information available from investigators lists home invasion and aggravated assault as the offenses for which she was arrested.
