Checkers & Rally’s opens in Pahrump, third Nevada location in expansion

Checkers & Rally’s has opened a new Pahrump restaurant at 2310 S. Nevada Highway, a move that says as much about the Highway 160 corridor as it does about burgers and fries. The April 30 opening adds another national brand to one of the valley’s busiest commercial stretches, where traffic, convenience stops and steady retail buildout continue to draw operators looking for a foothold in Nye County.

The Pahrump site is the third restaurant developed under a multi-unit agreement with LV Foodservice Concepts, and another location is slated to open later in 2026. That makes the valley opening part of a larger Nevada expansion strategy, not a one-off store launch, with the brand also adding a Las Vegas location earlier in 2026. In practical terms, it shows that national chains still see Pahrump as a market worth building into, especially along Highway 160, where drivers, commuters and travelers already generate the kind of traffic that quick-service concepts rely on.

LV Foodservice Concepts oversees the Pahrump location. The company operates convenience stores and travel plazas and also runs recognizable brands including Starbucks, Black Bear Diner, Bojangles and Sbarro, a mix that fits the highway-oriented customer base in and around Pahrump. Jeanette Davis, the company’s senior vice president of operations, has more than 35 years of food service experience and opened her first Checkers & Rally’s last year, signaling that the Pahrump opening comes from a deliberate expansion plan rather than an isolated gamble.

The company’s growth has also drawn support from Checkers’ franchise development leadership, which has praised LV Foodservice Concepts’ continued development in Nevada. One industry quote said the partnership allows the brand to both expand and build new relationships within communities the company is growing in. A grand opening celebration is planned for a later date, extending the rollout beyond the initial opening day.

For Pahrump, the significance reaches beyond a new menu item. Another quick-service restaurant on Highway 160 adds jobs, gives residents another option for fast food and reinforces the corridor’s role as a commercial magnet in Nye County. As more retail and restaurant projects fill in around the valley, the Checkers & Rally’s opening is another sign that developers and national chains continue to view Pahrump as a place where spending power, traffic and growth still line up.
