New Psychiatrist Joins Garnet Health, Expands Mental Health Access Locally

Garnet Health Doctors added Gulnaz Kiyamova, MD, to its psychiatry team at the Harris outpatient clinic located at 68 Harris Bushville Road in Harris on December 26, 2025. Dr. Kiyamova brings more than 20 years of clinical experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of mental health conditions. Her clinical specialties include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders and addiction. She also has extensive expertise in neuropsychiatry, treating patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, migraines, chronic pain and post stroke recovery.

Her medical degree is from Kazan Medical University in Russia, and she completed residency training in psychiatry and neuropharmacology at Stony Brook University Hospital Medical Center on Long Island. Across her career she has practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings at institutions that include Albany Medical College, St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, Rockland Psychiatric Center and the VA Medical Center in Montrose. She has held academic appointments as assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at New York Medical College and as instructor in psychiatry at Albany Medical College.
