Kimberly Hogan, 57, of Beattyville died March 13 at her home; funeral services and burial at Family Farm Cemetery in Canyon Falls were held March 19.
Kimberly Hogan, 57, of Beattyville died Friday, March 13, 2026, at her home. She was born July 12, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, to James E. Brandenburg Jr. and the late Dolores Chambers, and spent her life as a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Pentecostal Church.
Those who knew Hogan remembered her as someone whose care for family expressed itself in tangible ways. She loved cooking, watching movies, and thrifting, and was, in the words of her obituary, "always showering" her family with gifts.
She is survived by her parents, James and Barbara Brandenburg; her son, Justin (Teri) Hogan; a granddaughter, Millie Hogan; a brother, James Brandenburg; a sister, Debbie Stamper; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Chambers.
Visitation was held Thursday, March 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Booneville Funeral Home, located at 3450 KY-11 in Booneville. The funeral service followed at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Rob Morgan officiating. Hogan was laid to rest at Family Farm Cemetery in the Canyon Falls community of Beattyville. Booneville Funeral Home handled arrangements.
