Prince George's County Planning Offices Close March 9 for Largo Construction

Building construction at the Prince George's County Planning Department's Largo Headquarters has shut the 1616 McCormick Drive offices to in-person visits as of March 9, with no reopening date announced. Both the Planning Department and the Planning Board offices at that address are affected.

The closure has no defined end date. The department has stated only that the reopening date is not yet known, leaving residents and applicants without a firm timeline for when walk-in access will return to the Largo facility.

Despite the closed doors, the department has emphasized that work continues. Development applications are still being accepted electronically, and staff across all divisions remain reachable by phone and email.
