Chili's Grill and Bar Set to Open in Royse City This Month

A Chili's Grill & Bar is preparing to open its doors in Royse City this month, bringing the national casual dining chain to a fast-growing corner of Rockwall County for the first time.

The Royse City Community Development Corporation announced on March 9 that the new location is slated to debut in mid-March. The restaurant sits at the northeast corner of Interstate 30 and Erby Campbell Boulevard, a corridor that has seen steady commercial development as Royse City's population has expanded in recent years.

Groundbreaking for the project took place in late 2025, meaning the restaurant moved from breaking ground to opening day in a matter of months. The I-30 and Erby Campbell Boulevard intersection places the new Chili's at one of Royse City's most visible and accessible locations, drawing from both local traffic and travelers moving along the interstate.

The opening adds a recognizable sit-down dining option to a city that has worked to grow its retail and restaurant base alongside its residential boom. Royse City, situated in the eastern reaches of Rockwall County, has been among the faster-growing municipalities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and the arrival of an established national chain like Chili's reflects continued commercial interest in serving that expanding customer base.
