GSE 10K Invitational Brings Hundreds of Youth Basketball Teams to Rockwall
Hundreds of youth basketball teams from across the country descended on Rockwall last weekend for the GSE 10K Invitational, where every division winner took home a $1,000 check.

Hundreds of youth basketball teams from across the country converged on Rockwall last weekend for the Grade School Elite 10K Invitational, a national tournament that ran March 13–15 and awarded a $1,000 team sponsorship check to the winner of every division.
AmeriSports Rockwall served as one of the listed host venues for the event, which Grade School Elite organizers describe as the largest youth team sponsorship tournament in the country. The tournament fields both boys and girls teams and, according to organizers, draws participants from 28 or more states each season.
The $1,000 prize structure is central to the tournament's identity. "What makes it so special? The winner of every division receives a ($1,000) team sponsorship check in addition to the first class awards ceremony," organizers wrote in event materials. That combination of cash sponsorship and competitive national exposure has helped the event grow rapidly since its launch.
Games were livestreamed through "Be The Beast!," an online broadcast partner the organization has used to give players visibility beyond the gym floor. Organizers have promoted the tournament as a platform where rising players can compete "against the best teams in every division with national media watching for rising stars."
For the 2025 edition, organizers projected more than 300 teams arriving from across the country to compete. The Rockwall competition appears to be part of that continued expansion, with the event drawing participants to a city whose sports infrastructure, including AmeriSports Rockwall, has made it a recurring destination for large-scale youth athletics.
Teams, coaches, and families with questions about the tournament can reach Grade School Elite organizers through the GSE Text Now Line at gsetournament@gmail.com or by calling 832.781.2188. The organization also offers the Grade School Elite app, available on both Apple and Android platforms, for schedules and event updates.
Division results, the names of the $1,000 check recipients, and final team counts for the March 13–15 Rockwall event had not been publicly confirmed as of publication.
