Rockwall County primary March 3, 2026; early voting starts Feb. 17

Primary voters in Rockwall County will cast ballots March 3, 2026, with early voting by personal appearance beginning Feb. 17 and ending Feb. 27. The Rockwall County Elections Office reiterated that "The Primary Elections take place on March 3, 2026." Voters should note key deadlines for ballot-by-mail and registration so their votes are counted.

Ballot-by-mail deadlines are firm: "February 20, 2026 - Last Day to Submit an Application for Ballot by Mail" and "March 3, 2026 - Last Day to Receive Voted Ballot by Mail." City of Rowlett notices remind residents that "The last day to register to vote or to make a change of address to be effective for the March 3, 2026 Primary Election is Monday, February 2, 2026." Rowlett officials also stress that "Photo ID is required to vote in Texas."

On Election Day polling hours are 7AM-7PM.
