Chris Berry scored a game-high five goals and goalie Alec Delgado made 14 saves as the Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team dominated the second half to rally for a 12-8 win at Babson on Tuesday night in a battle of Division III top-ten teams.

The game drew 550 fans to MacDowell Field in Babson Park, Mass., with a 7:00 p.m. start. The Polar Bears left with their perfect record intact, improving to 7-0 on the season.

After an early goal by Babson cut it to 9-8, Will Lesko scored a key man-up goal that sparked a game-ending three-goal run as Bowdoin pulled away, outscoring Babson 10-4 in the second half to take the win.

Berry also received support from Casey Ryan, who had two goals and two assists. Sam Raye-Steiner added two goals and an assist. Troy Ulisney and Ryan Winters each contributed a goal as well.

Bowdoin was outstanding on the faceoff dot, with Alex Choi going 7-for-11 and Cam Wietfeldt 9-for-12 to help the Polar Bears maintain possession, especially during the third quarter when Bowdoin owned a 9-1 advantage in faceoff wins. Delgado finished with 14 saves, and Bowdoin was dominant with the extra attacker, going 4-for-5 on man-up opportunities.

Berry also contributed three caused turnovers, while Luke Bernasek had two caused turnovers and four ground balls in the victory.

Bowdoin was an NCAA Final Four participant last spring, and the Brunswick program has carried that momentum into 2026 without a blemish. The Polar Bears return to action Saturday afternoon at home in Brunswick against Amherst at 1:00 p.m.
