The Piedra Vista junior launched two home runs in the second inning, made four defensive plays that kept Bloomfield scoreless, and handled the pitching circle herself, striking out two batters and surrendering just one hit over three innings as the Panthers blanked the Bobcats 18-0 in a non-district statement win.

Senior Isabella Jessee provided the early spark, launching a three-run home run that ignited an extended scoring rally and pushed Piedra Vista to a 7-0 lead. The Panthers never let up. The Bobcats managed only one baserunner all afternoon, and Bloomfield's pitching staff had no answer for a Panthers lineup that scored 12 runs in a late surge to reach the final 18-0 margin.

Head coach Kevin Werth praised John's two-way preparation and contributions after the game, noting the team's hot bats while pointing to the need to sustain that offensive energy as district play draws near.
