San Juan County Communities Offer Diverse Events March 10-13

Farmington, Aztec, Bloomfield and surrounding communities wrapped up a four-day stretch of programming this week that brought together cultural events, college activities and family-focused offerings across San Juan County.

The cluster of events, which ran March 10 through 13, reflected the varied interests of residents throughout the region. The Tri-City Record's community calendar compiled the lineup, drawing from venues and organizations spread across the county's principal towns as well as smaller nearby communities.

The calendar's range, spanning cultural programming, higher education events and activities geared toward families, pointed to the breadth of what local institutions and community organizations put forward even within a short midweek window. College programming in particular signaled active engagement from San Juan County's educational community during the period.

No single event dominated the calendar; instead, the four days represented a cross-section of what the area's towns routinely produce when programming from multiple sectors lands on the same week.
