Rio Rancho business opens upscale restroom trailers for events and job sites
A new Rio Rancho business is betting weddings, film crews and job sites will pay for restroom trailers with wood floors, sinks and climate control.

Emiliano Gallardo marked the first month of Pinnacle Restroom Trailers LLC with a ribbon cutting at the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce, betting that Sandoval County has enough weddings, private parties, construction projects and film work to support a higher-end restroom service. The company is positioning itself as a step above standard portable toilets, with trailers built for events and businesses that need something closer to an indoor bathroom.
Each trailer has two bathrooms, one for women and one for men, along with wood flooring, a toilet, a sink, a mirror, running water, air conditioning in the summer and a heater in the winter. Pinnacle says its trailers have separate entrances and sturdy access steps, details that underscore the premium pitch Gallardo is bringing to a market that usually thinks of temporary restrooms as a basic necessity rather than part of the guest experience.
The business’s timing fits Rio Rancho’s growth. The city’s 2024 population estimate stood at 112,524, while Sandoval County reached 157,757, giving specialized service companies a sizable customer base across residential growth, public gatherings and commercial development. Rio Rancho also has a long growth story behind it: AMREP Corporation bought 55,000 acres in the early 1960s to market Rio Rancho Estates, and the city was incorporated in 1981, according to the city’s history page.

That backdrop matters for a company like Pinnacle. Rio Rancho’s Convention and Visitors Bureau highlights assistance, climate, permits and regional film resources for productions, which lines up with Gallardo’s target customers in film, construction and events. The company’s own description says it aims to provide premium portable restroom trailers for events and businesses with clean, reliable, comfortable service every step of the way.
The chamber event also pointed to the role local business groups play in helping new operators get in front of customers. The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce serves Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, Corrales, Bernalillo and Sandoval County from its office at 4201 Crestview Dr SE, giving a new niche business a place to connect with planners, contractors and property owners who need a temporary but upscale solution.

Gallardo said the business was still just getting rolling and urged potential customers to call for quotes so the company can match a trailer to each job. For Rio Rancho, the launch suggests that the city’s expanding event economy and construction pipeline may now be large enough to support a service that treats a mobile restroom like a specialized amenity, not an afterthought.
