Buchanan Nonprofit Hosts Meet, Greet and Bake Sale to Support Equine Programs
A Moment of Freedom in Buchanan is hosting a public meet, greet and bake sale March 28 to raise funds for its equine-assisted programs.

A Moment of Freedom, the Buchanan-based nonprofit behind equine-assisted experiences and community programming in Stutsman County, is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, March 28, with a fundraising Meet & Greet and bake sale running from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event offers residents a chance to connect directly with the organization and learn about its equine programs while supporting them through baked goods sales. A Moment of Freedom centers its work on equine-assisted experiences, a form of community programming that pairs participants with horses to support wellbeing and engagement.
The March 28 gathering is a fundraiser, meaning proceeds from the bake sale will go toward sustaining those programs. With the event scheduled just over two weeks out, the nonprofit is inviting the broader public to stop by, meet the people and animals behind the mission, and contribute to keeping the work going.

Buchanan sits in the northwestern corner of Stutsman County, and A Moment of Freedom represents one of the more distinctive nonprofit operations in the area, drawing on the agricultural landscape of central North Dakota to deliver programming that combines community connection with equine care.
The Meet & Greet and bake sale runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on March 28 at A Moment of Freedom's Buchanan location.
