Darlene Kay Struble Memorial Service Set for March 28 in Jamestown
Darlene Kay Struble, 79, a longtime OB nurse at Jamestown Hospital, was honored Saturday at Haut Funeral Home. Her family directed memorials to JRMC's OB ward in lieu of flowers.

Darlene Kay Struble, 79, was remembered Saturday afternoon at Haut Funeral Home in Jamestown, where Pastor Kristi Weber officiated a 3:30 p.m. memorial service honoring a woman who built her career in the OB ward at Jamestown Hospital. Struble died Monday, March 23, at Eventide in Jamestown, surrounded by her family.
Born April 11, 1946, in Valley City to Frank and Ruby (Satreaas) Klima, Struble grew up in LaMoure and graduated from LaMoure High School in 1964. She continued her education at North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton before completing her LPN training in Grand Forks.
She married Charles Struble on October 25, 1969, at Trinity Lutheran Church, and the couple settled in Jamestown, where Darlene began her nursing career in the OB department at Jamestown Hospital. The family's request that memorials be directed to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center foundations, specifically the OB ward, honors that chapter of her life directly.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; sons Cory (Deb) Struble and Dave (Leslie) Struble; and two sisters, including Linda (Gary) Kraft. Interment at Highland Home Cemetery is arranged for a later date. Haut Funeral Home, at 1101 5th Ave NE in Jamestown, handled service arrangements.
