Rep. Julie Fedorchak's congressional staff is scheduled to hold mobile office hours at Alfred Dickey Library in Jamestown next month, giving Stutsman County residents a local option for face-to-face federal casework assistance rather than making the trip to Bismarck.

Fedorchak, who serves North Dakota's at-large congressional district, announced the April schedule on March 30. Jamestown is one of multiple stops planned across the state as part of the outreach effort.

Staff at the sessions can work through a wide range of federal matters, including Social Security cases, VA benefits, immigration questions, and other federal program and agency issues. They can accept documentation on site, provide agency referrals, help track existing cases, and walk constituents through eligibility requirements. Residents with more complicated situations can expect staff to coordinate follow-up from the district or Washington, D.C., office.

"A top priority for me and my team is being accessible and responsive to the people of North Dakota," Fedorchak has said about the mobile office hours program.

North Dakota's geographic size makes in-district travel a real obstacle for many constituents, and the mobile format is designed to close that gap by bringing staff directly into communities. Alfred Dickey Library serves as the designated Jamestown site for the visit.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring relevant documentation for any federal cases they need help with. Appointment times and contact information for scheduling are available through Fedorchak's congressional office.
