Jamestown Chamber Unveils Buffalo Days Schedule for July Festival
The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has released the headline schedule for Buffalo Days, set for July 26–28, giving residents and businesses early notice to plan participation. The announcement outlines core events, major sponsors, and encourages vendors and attendees to consult the chamber website or contact organizers with questions.

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce announced on Jan. 7 that Buffalo Days, the community’s summer festival, will run July 26–28 this year and will include a full slate of family-focused and competitive events. Headline attractions listed in the announcement include the parade, vendor show, concerts, pancake breakfast, golf tournament, cornhole tournament, mud drags and other family activities. Major sponsors named are Applied Digital, Midco, Great River Energy and Jamestown Parks and Recreation, among others.
By releasing the schedule more than six months ahead, chamber officials are giving local retailers, restaurants, and service businesses time to align staffing, inventory and marketing plans with anticipated visitor flows. The mix of events - from downtown parade activity to outdoor concerts and motorsport-style mud drags - is likely to spread foot traffic across multiple venues and time slots, helping small businesses capture incremental sales throughout the weekend.
For vendors and entrepreneurs, the early announcement is an operational cue. Vendors who plan booths at the vendor show will have more time to secure permits, prepare product mixes and calculate costs such as booth fees and temporary staffing. The inclusion of tournaments and specialty events such as the golf and cornhole competitions may also produce niche revenue opportunities for sports-related businesses and food and beverage operators.

Public services and municipal departments will also use the schedule to coordinate logistics. Parks and recreation, already listed as a sponsor, will likely manage site preparations and safety protocols at park venues, while law enforcement and public works will coordinate traffic controls, parking and waste management around parade routes and larger concert sites. Early notice reduces the risk of last-minute disruptions and helps city and county officials budget for overtime and equipment needs.
Beyond immediate economic effects, Buffalo Days functions as a social anchor for Stutsman County. The festival concentrates local spending, encourages community volunteerism and attracts visitors from surrounding areas, supporting hospitality and retail sectors. Residents interested in attending, volunteering or vending should consult the full schedule on the Jamestown Area Chamber website and contact the chamber with questions to confirm registration deadlines, booth availability and any permitting requirements. The chamber’s release provides the timetable locals need to plan involvement in one of Jamestown’s signature summer events.
