Jamestown Parks Hires Allie Becker, Strengthens Office and Finance Operations

Jamestown Parks and Recreation District moved this week to reinforce its administrative capacity with the hiring of Allie Becker as Business Office Assistant, a role announced on November 26, 2025. Becker, who previously worked as a Guest Service Attendant at the Two Rivers Activity Center TRAC, will take on a range of finance and human resources duties that affect day to day operations across district facilities.

In her new position Becker will support accounts payable and reconciliations, handle vendor and purchasing card management, and assist with collections and banking. She will serve as system administrator for JPRD point of sale software, creating activities, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining program operations. Her responsibilities also include assisting with payroll, audits, reporting, technology projects, and compliance tasks such as the annual Fraud Risk Assessment.

The move is aimed at strengthening internal controls and service delivery as the district manages registrations, facility use, and program revenue. Business Manager Bonnie Ukestad praised Becker's attention to detail and enthusiasm, noting the hire will support both financial oversight and front line program administration. Having a staff member who bridges customer service experience at TRAC with back office functions is expected to streamline transaction processing and reduce interruptions to program registration and facility services.
