Jamestown's 66th Annual Easter Egg Hunt Returns to McElroy Park April 4

McElroy Park will fill with children hunting colorful eggs on Saturday, April 4, when Jamestown's 66th Annual Easter Egg Hunt runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in what organizers call a longtime spring tradition drawing families from across Stutsman County.

The Jamestown Elks Lodge #995 is hosting the event in partnership with the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department, with local volunteers and sponsors also involved in organizing the afternoon.

Children can search for eggs filled with treats while the Easter Bunny greets families and poses for photos, with pictures available for $10. Kids should bring a basket or container to collect their goodies, organizers note. One firm rule: adults are not allowed to participate in the egg hunt itself, keeping the activity squarely in the hands of the children.

Organizers are also encouraging participants to watch for updates on prize giveaways leading up to the event, though specific prize details have not yet been announced.
