Stutsman County Posts Live-Stream Guide for Park Board, Commission Meetings
Stutsman County now streams Park Board and County Commission meetings live on Facebook every first and third Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Central.

Stutsman County published guidance on its official website this week directing residents to live streams of Park Board and Board of County Commissioners meetings via Facebook Live, with the posting updated in the March 13-19 window.
The county's Live Stream page states: "Stutsman County is now offering real-time live streams via Facebook Live for all Park Board and Board Of County Commissioners meetings." Those meetings follow a recurring schedule, held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, with streams going active a few minutes before the scheduled 8:30 a.m. Central start time.
Coverage extends to special meetings as well. "Special meetings for either board will also be live-streamed unless the meeting is held at an external location outside the Courthouse," the page notes, carving out an exception for any session conducted away from the Stutsman County Courthouse in Jamestown.
To access the stream, the county directs users to its Facebook page through a clickable graphic on the Live Stream page. No direct link or Facebook handle appears in the published text itself; the graphic serves as the access point.
The county was explicit about the limits of the service. "The live-streams are offered as a service and any comments or questions posted to social media will not be recognized or answered during meetings," the page states. "If you wish to make public comment you must do so through the proper channels." A "Public Comment Policy" section heading appears on the page, though the full policy text was not published in the visible portion of the page.
The Live Stream page also lists upcoming county events, including recurring Park Board and Commission meetings, a Weed Board Meeting, a Water Resource Board Meeting, and a county office closure for Good Friday on April 3. The page does not state that Weed Board or Water Resource Board meetings are live-streamed; the explicit streaming commitment covers only the Park Board and Board of County Commissioners.
The page includes accessibility and language features, with a language selector supporting more than three dozen languages and dedicated sections on conformance status and assistive technology compatibility.
