The Warrior Invitational represents an early-season measuring stick for both programs as they target conference and national championship contention later in the spring. The finishes, while outside the top half of the field, provide coaching staff with a clear look at where the squads stand and what needs sharpening before postseason play arrives.

Both teams are next scheduled to compete at the Augustana Spring Invitational in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on April 6-7.
