Suffolk County police raid Mastic Star Relax Spa; two women arrested
Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct raided Star Relax Spa at 1360 Montauk Highway in Mastic, arresting two women; an Instagram post names Yingying Wang, 38, and Huiping Lin, 62, but charges were not released.

Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Investigative Unit officers executed a raid at Star Relax Spa, 1360 Montauk Highway in Mastic, on Feb. 20, 2026, and arrested two women during the probe, law enforcement said. The initial police bulletin released after the operation was truncated and did not list charges or identify the arrestees.
An Instagram post circulating after the raid identified Yingying Wang, 38, of Centereach, as the owner of the spa and Huiping Lin, 62, of Centereach, as an employee, and said both "were charged with" before the post cut off. That social media post provides names and ages but the Suffolk County Police excerpt available to this newsroom did not confirm those identities or specify the counts filed.
The Mastic action follows separate enforcement elsewhere on the South Shore. In Shirley, at a different address listed as 944 Montauk Highway, Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers arrested Qun Lin, 47, and Jiao Wang, 36, both of Flushing, on charges that the county classified as Felony Unauthorized Practice Of A Profession and Misdemeanor Prostitution. Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal and Code Enforcement inspectors assisted that investigation, and county records indicate both suspects were issued desk appearance tickets and are expected to appear at First District Court in Central Islip.
A related, distinct enforcement occurred in Hauppauge the day before the Mastic raid. At Eden Resort & Spa, 591 Smithtown Bypass, Fourth Precinct Investigative Unit officers and multiple specialized units arrested Zuhong Xu, 44, of Flushing, at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2026. Xu faces two counts of Prostitution and two counts of Unauthorized Practice Of A Profession, Smithtown fire and building officials cited the site for fire-code and building violations and deemed the establishment unsafe, and Xu was issued a desk appearance ticket for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip.
Investigative methods described in an unrelated Chandler, Arizona, prosecution illustrate how undercover operations have been conducted in similar cases: court documents in that matter state, "Every undercover detective received a 30-minute massage. Each had two different massage therapists." That Arizona case is separate from the Suffolk County investigations but mirrors procedural elements prosecutors sometimes employ.
The Suffolk County Police press excerpt for the Mastic raid did not include charges, booking details, or a scheduled court date for the two women arrested at Star Relax Spa. County authorities have not yet released a full statement tying the Instagram names to the arrests or listing the alleged offenses; those matters will be resolved through charging decisions and filings at First District Court in Central Islip as the investigation proceeds.
