Suffolk County Police Seek Public Help Finding Missing Elwood Man, 55

Joseph Competiello, 55, was last seen walking away from his Remsen Street home in Elwood at approximately 8:30 a.m. on April 2, wearing a black North Face jacket, jeans, and Skechers sneakers. He has not been located since, and Suffolk County Police are asking anyone who may have seen him to call the Second Squad immediately at 631-854-8252.

Competiello is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with a shaved head and brown eyes. A family member contacted police at roughly 2:30 p.m. on April 2, about six hours after he was last seen at the Remsen Street address.
