Fisher Cats Add Sullivan County Day to 2026 Promotional Schedule

Sullivan County gets its moment at the ballpark this summer, grouped with Grafton and Cheshire counties for a Sunday, August 9 game at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester as part of a new Fisher Cats promotional initiative announced March 10.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, unveiled "Heritage Nights / County Days" as an addition to their 2026 promotional schedule. The program will honor seven different heritages and all 10 New Hampshire counties across a series of designated games throughout the season.

"Much like the heritage of baseball, New Hampshire is so culturally diverse and made up of a world of different backgrounds," said Andrew Marais, Fisher Cats Assistant General Manager. "We are always trying to widen our reach to the communities within our community. We want fans to come to Delta Dental Stadium and be proud of their heritage and where they come from and feel that pride throughout the ballpark."

The Grafton/Sullivan/Cheshire Counties Day on August 9 is one of six County Days scheduled across the season, all falling on Sundays. The full slate runs from Hillsborough County Day on April 19 through the Coos/Carroll/Belknap event on July 12 before reaching the three-county grouping that includes Sullivan in August.

Each Heritage Nights/County Days event is designed to include live pregame performances on the Smuttynose Stage, themed food and beverage offerings, and on-field performances. The team described additional activations without specifying them in the announcement.

Two Heritage Nights dates were explicitly named in the release: Irish Heritage Night on Friday, April 17, and Latin and Hispanic Heritage Night on Friday, August 28. The team stated that seven heritage groups will be featured in total across the season, though dates for the remaining five have not yet been announced.

The 2026 season opens with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the 2025 Eastern League champions and New York Mets affiliate, visiting Delta Dental Stadium on Opening Day, marking the second consecutive year New Hampshire has hosted an Opening Day game. Eight of the 12 Eastern League teams are scheduled to visit Manchester during the season.
