OSSAA Releases 2026 Regional Basketball Pairings; Texhoma, Tyrone Among Panhandle Teams

Texhoma will stream its regional games on YouTube and Tyrone will be on NFHSNetwork after OSSAA released regional brackets Feb. 20; Class 6A-5A first rounds run Feb. 26-27 with winners advancing Feb. 28.

Texhoma supporters will be able to watch their school’s regional games on YouTube via the Texhoma Booster Club, and Tyrone’s games will be available on the NFHSNetwork, according to a broadcast listing posted by OssaaIllustrated. The streaming map arrived as the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association released regional brackets for the 2026 basketball playoffs on Feb. 20, 2026, a statewide package that included schedule windows, host sites and bracket structure for Class 6A and 5A regions.

The Oklahoman’s Darla Smith reported the OSSAA schedule for first-round windows: girls regionals are set for Thursday, Feb. 26 with tip times at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and winners will play Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3:30 p.m. Boys regionals will play Friday, Feb. 27 at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., with winners set to play Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7:00 p.m.

The ossaarankings listing the association uses also includes TEXHOMA and TYRONE in its alphabetized roster of member schools, corroborating both schools’ presence on OSSAA maps. A separate Instagram post advertised a reveal show for Classes 4A-3A-2A on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 11:00 a.m., a separate event from the Feb. 20 release that covered the Class 6A-5A pairings.
