Belen Parks and Rec Opens Adult 3-on-3 Basketball League Registration
Belen's Parks & Rec is recruiting adults 18+ for a spring 3-on-3 basketball league; teams of 3–5 players can register for $150 through April 18.

The City of Belen Parks and Recreation Department opened registration this week for an Adult 3-on-3 Basketball League that will tip off May 12 and run through June 18, giving Hub City players a six-week competitive outlet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Games will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Community Center at 305 Eagle Lane. The format accommodates both assembled squads and solo players looking to join the league: teams of three to five players may register together for $150, while individuals can sign up for $50. Regular registration runs through April 18.
Players who miss that deadline have one more window. Late registration opens April 19 and closes April 25, though the price climbs to $175 per team. The city's announcement does not list a late-registration rate for individuals, so solo registrants should contact Parks and Recreation directly to confirm their options after April 18. The minimum age to participate is 18.
The department announced the league on March 12, with the registration period formally opening March 16. To register or ask questions, call the Parks and Recreation Department at 505-966-2700.
