Wake County Men Charged with Sexual Exploitation of Minors in Separate Cases
Two Wake County men face child sexual exploitation charges in unrelated cases, including a Raleigh man held without bond after allegedly encouraging an 11-year-old boy.

Two Wake County men have been charged with sexual exploitation of minors in separate, unrelated cases, with one suspect already facing more than 15 charges across two counties before his latest arrest.
Jaymahney Collins, 25, was taken into custody Friday evening after a deputy with the Wake County Sheriff's Office responded to a trespassing call at a home in eastern Wake County around 8:20 p.m. The suspect had already left when the deputy arrived, but Collins returned to the area while the deputy was still on scene and was arrested. As investigators learned more about Collins's prior relationship with the victim during the victim's juvenile years, the scope of the charges expanded. Collins now faces six counts of second-degree sex exploitation of a minor, one count of cyberstalking, one count of harassing phone calls, and one count of misdemeanor stalking. The Wake County Sheriff's Office released no additional information about bond status or a scheduled court date.
The second case involves Aaron Gary St. Clair, 45, of Raleigh, who was arrested Saturday and charged with two counts of felony first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. According to arrest warrants, the charges stem from incidents on Sept. 6 in which St. Clair allegedly encouraged an 11-year-old boy to engage in sexual activity. St. Clair is being held without bond and is expected to make his initial court appearance in Wake County on Monday.
St. Clair's arrest Saturday came on top of a substantial prior charge history. He was arrested on Oct. 9 in Wake County and charged with 10 counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor for possessing sexually explicit material featuring children as young as 5 years old, plus five additional counts for duplicating such material involving children as young as 11. Both sets of Oct. 9 Wake County charges stem from incidents in September. That same day, St. Clair was arrested in Durham County and charged with felony indecent liberties with a 10-year-old boy, an arrest tied to an incident in May.
Investigators searching a law enforcement database also found an indecent liberties report filed by the Apex Police Department from Feb. 11 at XL Sports World, an indoor sports facility. That report described a man going into bathrooms after children at the facility. Employees confronted the man, determined he had no children enrolled in any programs there and no reason for being on the premises, and asked him to leave, which he did. A photo of the man and vehicle provided to police appeared to match St. Clair, according to search warrant documents.
The two cases are not connected, and no source links Collins and St. Clair to any shared incident or investigation. The Wake County Sheriff's Office has not issued further statements on either matter.
