Beltrami County will hold township elections Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in every township except Hines, Jones and Northern; early voting is Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m.–noon at local polling places.

Beltrami County voters will choose township officials on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in every township except Hines, Jones and Northern Township, with early in-person voting scheduled for Saturday, March 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at each local polling place. The county’s published schedule sets Election Day in-person voting hours for the township election from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at respective polling places.
The Beltrami County website lists "You can vote:" and then lays out the three options: by mail by requesting an absentee ballot from your local town clerk; early in person on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at your polling place; and on Election Day on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at your polling place. Voters who prefer mail should contact their town clerk to request an absentee ballot; county records note that town clerks are the issuing authority for absentee ballots.
Local party conventions are underway in the same weekend that townships open early voting. Delegates selected at February caucuses will attend conventions to consider endorsements. The Beltrami County Republican Party will hold two back-to-back conventions starting at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at its office in the Paul Bunyan Mall to consider endorsements for Minnesota House District 2A, House District 2B and Senate District 2. The Beltrami County DFL will also hold conventions and endorsement meetings following the February caucuses; local DFL materials note the county is in Senate District 2, House Districts 2A and 2B and U.S. Congressional District 8.
Voters who need to confirm what will be on their ballot or where to vote should follow established guidance: "To determine your specific city ward, township or district, visit the Minnesota Secretary of State's website, input your address, and it will tell you what is on the ballot for your area once filing periods have closed and where your respective polling place will be." Minnesota offers same-day registration; the county FAQ states, "I am not registered; can I still vote on Election Day? Yes, Minnesota offers same day registration. Be sure to bring a photo ID and proof of residence to your polling place."
