Bluewater Showcases Water Quality's Impact on Brewing at Coffee Fest New York
Bluewater is running daily tasting flights at Coffee Fest New York, Booth #2510, March 8–10 to show how SuperiorOsmosis and LiquidRock change clarity, sweetness, and balance.

Bluewater is on the floor at Coffee Fest New York, March 8–10, at the Javits Center in New York, sharing Booth #2510 with Pro Coffee Gear and centering its activation on water’s role in brewing. The company is promoting its second-generation reverse osmosis system, SuperiorOsmosis, which the March 6 press release says "removes over 99 percent of contaminants and helps keep tap water quality steady," and is offering a daily tasting flight so attendees can taste the differences.
To experience the demonstration, Coffee Fest visitors are invited to "join our daily tasting flight at Booth #2510, where we’ll guide you through how precise water profiles transform your cup," a press release distributed March 6 states. Bluewater will brew coffee from its Brand Ambassador Roasters at the booth and guide tasters through how changes in water clarity, sweetness, and balance affect extraction and perceived flavor across three days of the show.
Bluewater is pairing the SuperiorOsmosis claim with its remineralizing technology, presented in the press materials as LiquidRock, or Liquid Rock®. The release says, "LiquidRock adds the right minerals with care. This lets baristas achieve a balanced extraction and highlight the flavours the roaster intended." Corporate copy for Bluewater’s Café Station adds context for a professional installation, stating, "The Café Station solution not only purifies water of all known cancer‑linked contaminants such as PFAS and other chemicals but physically enhances it with the unique Bluewater Liquid Rock mineralizing technology, providing baristas a reliable ‘best friend’ in their pursuit of the perfect brew."
Bluewater leadership and ambassadors are amplifying the product message at the show. "Ask any barista what matters in a great cup, and you’ll hear the usual answers: origin, roast, grind size, brew time. But one ingredient still flies under the radar – water," the company said in its announcement. "At Bluewater, we obsess over every variable in coffee – the dose, the grind, the brew time," says Niklas Ivarsson, Bluewater USA chief, and Bluewater Brand Ambassador Frank La, 2024 U.S. Barista Champion, is quoted saying, "When the water’s right, the coffee sings."

Bluewater positions the Coffee Fest activation alongside a string of industry demonstrations: the company staged a UK launch of the Café Station in London on November 29, 2024, showed the Café Station at Coffee Fest Los Angeles, unveiled the solution at World of Coffee in Copenhagen, and has been named Official Water Partner for the 2026 United States Coffee Competition Series, according to Bluewater archive materials.
Bluewater’s press materials also use the event to press a public health angle, stating, "As the discussion around water safety continues to evolve, Bluewater urges governments, municipalities, and health authorities around the world to re‑evaluate water treatment practices and prioritize public health alongside compliance." For media or trade queries at Coffee Fest, the press release lists Niklas Ivarsson, niklas.ivarsson@bluewatergroup.com, and David Noble, Bluewater Group, +44 7785 302694. The press release distributed on March 6 was republished across outlets including PalmBeachDailyNews, AZCentral, and Jacksonville; technical claims in those materials are presented by Bluewater and are not independently verified in the company’s event materials.
